Core problem
Carers spend real time after every resident visit writing up notes that have to meet strict documentation standards – and those notes have to hold up under an aged care audit. The client needed that spoken observation turned into a compliant, structured note in under a minute, not just transcribed text.
Why an off-the-shelf approach couldn't solve it
A generic AI transcription tool can turn speech into text, but it can’t check that text against the specific documentation standards aged care providers are legally required to follow. This needed real compliance logic layered on top of the AI, plus strict Australian data residency and PII handling that off-the-shelf SaaS tools aren’t built to guarantee.
